Women's Champions League

The UEFA Women's Champions League is the first international women's association football club competition for teams that play in UEFA nations. Initially known as the UEFA Women's Cup, the competition has been re-branded since the 2009-2010 edition as the UEFA Women's Champions League. Best player in History Of FootBall

Maradona's talent was without a doubt the greatest ever seen in football. His dribbling ability was mesmerising, his goal scoring was unique and clinical, and his passing and crossing were precise - earning him many assists in his career. From attacking midfield he scored 345 goals in 680 games. With a much more difficult career than Pele, he still won the 1986 World Cup with Argentina as well as 3 league titles, and 1 UEFA Cup with Napoli. Against England he scored one of the greatest goals of all time.

History Of UEFA

UEFA was founded on June 15, 1954 in Basel after consultation between Italian, French, and Belgian associations. Initially the European football union was accounted for 25 members which later doubled by the early 1990s. Not all sovereign countries of Europe are members of UEFA, yet all of those are micro states. Several countries that geographically located in Asia were also admitted to the European football association, particularly Israel and Kazakhstan that in the past were members of the Asian football association.

Polish Teams In Champions

The following teams have qualified for elimination rounds in the UEFA Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund

Even more elusive to viewers has been the play of Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund was drawn into Group D. Group D featured the champions of Spain, The Netherlands, England and Germany; Dortmund has won the past two Bundesliga titles ahead of their more popular rival Bayern Munich. The group was dubbed ‘The Group of Champions’ or perhaps more appropriately ‘The Group of Death’. Dortmund managed to get a win over every team in the group which included Real Madrid and Manchester City. Some may have had the German champions finishing second but most did not see them finishing on top of Group D.
